Rev. Dr. Herbert G. ‘Ben’ McLean is a dedicated Minister of the Gospel with over 30 years’ experience in Pastoral Ministry. Over these years, he also served the Christian community in Missions, Evangelism, Youth Leadership, Church Planting, Christian Education, Worship and Choir Ministries, Family Life Counselling and Facilitation, Mentorship, Warfare and Deliverance, and Church Administration. He and his wife Dr. Millicent worked in the education sector of their country Jamaica for over fifty years combined, as Vocational Instructor and Teacher/ Counselor respectively. He is a founding member of the Independent Churches of Jamaica (ICJ) - an umbrella church organization that facilitates over 3,000 independent churches. He is also a member of Lighthouse Churches of God in Christ of Canada; a family of networking ministries in Canada, Sri Lanka, Africa, Jamaica and elswhere in the world. He and his wife serves on the International Academic Board of Regency School of Ministry and Missions, Canada, as Chairman & Director of International Academic Policy and Programs, and International Students Dean respectively. They both earned their Doctorate , Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees; Ben in Theology and Millicent in Theology and Counselling,
Dr. Ben is a Worship Minister, Choir Coach, Church Developer and Trainer, Strategic Organizer, International Preacher and Conference Speaker. He has an unquenchable passion for the harvesting and training of millennials for the Kingdom of God. He is married to Dr. Millicent for over 36 years. They are blessed with 2 sons, 2 grand-daughters and over 20 spiritually adopted children who are constantly given up to the Lord Jesus Christ for Him to consecrate them and use them to bring others into His Kingdom.
Pastor McLean has been used by God to break down spiritual, social, economic and denominational barriers in the lives of many in Jamaica, other islands of the Caribbean, North America and Canada. He has done extensive collaborative work with bishops, pastors and their churches across many denominational lines. He is a strong team oriented individual and a strategic thinker who is on a divine mission to fulfilling God’s specific mandate on His life; to equip churches for end time ministry. He is respected by superiors, peers and followers for his high moral standards, collaborative and interpersonal skills among young and old alike, and his unquenchable pursuit after the things of God.
Since 2012 Dr. Ben has been commissioned by God to use this season of his life to equip churches across the world to carry out end-time ministries at high standards of excellence, as well as to assist the less fortunate with food, educational and humanitarian needs.
